WHAT ARE THE RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS?

We check your academic progress once per year, after spring grades have been posted. You must have successfully completed 24 UCF hours for the previous fall and spring terms. In addition, you must maintain the UCF GPA that is stipulated on the initial award letter you received from Undergraduate Admissions. The UCF GPA is the grade point average (GPA) on all work attempted while in attendance at UCF. For your scholarship GPA requirement you may also refer to our Scholarship Program Information Chart.

Pegasus Awards

The GPA requirement is stipulated on the initial award letter you received from Undergraduate Admissions. You may also refer to our UCF Scholarship Program Eligibility Chart for your scholarship GPA requirements.

Must be have been initially enrolled as a full-time student (a minimum of 12 UCF credit hours) each fall and spring term.

Must successfully complete an average of at least 24 UCF hours for the previous fall and spring period.

For Example: If a student was enrolled in 12 hours for the fall semester and earned 9 hours, the student would need to enroll in and successfully complete 15 hours in the spring semester to have earned an average of 24 hours by the end of the evaluation period.

SUMMER GRADES AND HOURS earned after spring evaluation may not be used to meet the scholarship renewal requirements.

GRADE FORGIVENESS: Only the repeated course grade and hours will be calculated into the period under review.

REPEAT CHECKING: Repeat Checking refers to how the University treats classes that you have taken more than once. If you repeat a class, there are implications for your GPA and academic level (freshman, sophomore, etc). However, and normally, repeated classes do not result in additional credit counting towards the degree. For more information, please see http://registrar.ucf.edu/my-knight-audit#faq

Please Note: The Directors Special Achievement Scholarship is a non renewable one year (two semesters) award.
