WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SCHOLARSHIP IS CANCELED?

In addition, if you do not meet the FAFSA deadline of the High Achievement Scholarship Program, your scholarship will be canceled. You may appeal cancellation of the scholarship to the UCF Scholarship Committee if there were extenuating circumstances that caused you to perform poorly or if it's the first time you failed to meet the FAFSA deadline.

HOW DOES THE APPEAL PROCESS WORK?

1. Print out, complete, and return the Scholarship Appeal Form to our office. Please be sure to attach any supporting documentation to your appeal. The form can be mailed or dropped off to our office.

2. Appeals are reviewed by the UCF Scholarship Committee on a monthly basis. The Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Completed appeals must be received by the last day of the month for review the following month. For example, to have an appeal reviewed in the October meeting, the documentation must be received by September 30th.

3. E-mail notifications are sent to students notifying them of the committee’s decision.
