Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic criteria and/or any combination of academics, financial need, campus/community activities, leadership positions and work experience.  Scholarships are designed to reward, encourage and assist students in pursuing academic excellence and leadership roles.

BANK OF AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP
14/15 Academic Year
Get Application .PDF now - Must be a first-time-in-college (FTIC) student entering a state public university.
- Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 using the academic courses required for admission into a public state university.
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need as defined by the university’s financial aid office
- Recipient must demonstrate a history of community service as determined by the university.
- The scholarship award will be evenly divided between fall and spring terms.
- The student must maintain continuous enrollment, and scholarship eligibility will not exceed a maximum of eight (8) semesters.
- For purposes of renewal, a student may utilize summer attendance in order to achieve the annual required GPA of 3.0. Scholarship funds will not be allocated during the summer term. Universities may advance money for summer school to students who are on schedule to graduate in fewer than four years.
- Recipient must agree to authorize to release of his/her name, address, phone number, and academic progress to Bank of America.
- Must provide a 500 word essay outlining your plans/goals for the future.
- Must provide attach three letters of recommendation and a transcript. In addition, please attach a list of all activities, honors, awards, and other personal qualities or factors of which you want us to be aware. -This list should show a history of your activities either in school or in the community.

Renewal
- Recipient must volunteer a minimum of 50 hours per academic year community agency or an elementary, middle, or high school (pre-approved by the university).
- Recipient must maintain an annual cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Recipient must comply will all university regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus.
- Students who, because of extenuating circumstances, do not meet the renewal criteria may appeal to the university scholarship committee for reinstatement.

2014/2015 JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
- This is a competitively awarded program which is available to undergraduate students with disabilities who enroll in a State University System of Florida institution
- Applicants must adhere to the following application guidelines in order to qualify for full consideration:
In order to demonstrate financial need, all applicants must complete a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA form, and mail it to the appropriate address as indicated on the FAFSA form. To receive full consideration, the FAFSA should be mailed no later than April 15, 2014
- Applicant must provide an official current transcript (not a photocopy) which documents a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) on all credits. 
- High school students who are applying for the first year of college should submit a current high school transcript.
- Must provide documentation of the nature and/or extent of a disability. The disability must be in one or more of the following classifications: hearing impairment,physical impairment; specific learning disability; speech/language impairment; visual impairment; or other impairment. Appropriate documentation includes, but is not limited to, either a recent psychological evaluation used to determine eligibility for exceptional student services, school/medical records, certification by the Division of Blind Services, or a Vocational Rehabilitation eligibility determination. Documentation provided must meet the guidelines require by the institution in which the student is enrolled.

2011-2012 ASHRAE ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS
- Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least a 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30% (evidenced by an official transcript of grades or statement from a school administrator)
- Must be an undergraduate Engineering Technology student enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution and pursuing a bachelor or an associate degree in a course of study, which has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession, provided one of the following criteria is met:
>> The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch (www.ashrae.org/studentbranches)
>> The program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the USA (www.abet.org) or an equivalent agency
outside the USA that is a signatory of The Sydney Accord
>> The program is accredited by the (Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA) )

- Must be seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing
- Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; students completing an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program; and those enrolled in an accelerated program

MARKETING EDGE SCHOLARSHIP
- Must reside in the U.S. as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Applicant must be currently be enrolled in an accredited 4-year institution
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Applicant must show a commitment to pursuing a career in marketing (i.e., applicants should have taken two or more courses focused on: direct marketing, interactive marketing, email marketing,  electronic marketing, mobile marketing, social marketing, business to business marketing, not-for-profit marketing, database marketing, customer relationship management or integrated marketing communications)
- Students with internships focused in these areas will also be considered

NURSING PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP        
- Must be currently enrolled or enrolling in the next 6 months in an undergraduate or certificate level nursing education program  
- Students participating in transitional programs such as RN to BSN or LPN to BSN qualify for this scholarship
- Students enrolling or enrolled in nursing programs offered by online schools qualify also (Master’s and Doctorate level students do not qualify for this scholarship) 
- The purpose of this scholarship award is to help nursing students to pay for the costs of education, based on merit
- Please answer the following question using between 500-800 words: “Nursing job openings are becoming increasingly competitive. Imagine yourself in a group interview situation with nine other newly licensed nurses all competing for the same position. Describe how you would present yourself to the potential employer and convince them to hire you rather than the other applicants.”

College Student Scholarship

2) If Acrobat Reader is not installed, an Unknown File Type dialog box will appear. Click Save File. Choose the directory you wish to store the file in and click Save. The file will be downloaded.

3) Once your file has been downloaded, you may install Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the document that you downloaded. You can then view and print the form.
