Transfer students that are offered admission to UCF with an Associate in Arts degree from a Florida public community college may be eligible for merit-based awards. Students can obtain an application at any Florida public community college. Please submit the application to UCF's Office of Undergraduate Admissions by the established deadline. Please note that these scholarships are only available for students graduating with an AA degree from a Florida public community college who transfer directly to UCF for the fall semester.
Scholarship criteria:
- Earn and receive an Associate in Arts degree from a Florida public community college by August 24, 2009.
- Have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA by the April 17, 2009 scholarship application deadline.
- Apply for and be offered admission to UCF by April 3, 2009.
- Transfer directly to UCF from your Florida public community college.
- Initiate full-time enrollment at UCF beginning fall 2009. (Summer and spring applicants will not be considered.)

These scholarships for Florida community and state college students recognized by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) for their outstanding academic achievements. The University of Central Florida offers two AFT awards depending on the students' team designation: first or second.
To confirm your AFAT status, please review this link published by PTK and locate your team. Once confirmed, please complete the appropriate Scholarship Acceptance Form below. Make sure to adhere to the following criteria:
- You must be designated an All Florida Academic Team Scholar.

You must complete an Undergraduate Admissions application and be offered admission to UCF by July 1, 2009.

You must begin full-time enrollment at UCF beginning fall 2009.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance must receive the completed results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by June 1, 2009.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions must receive your Scholarship Acceptance Form by August 17, 2009.

You may only receive one scholarship from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
