Exit Interview

The federal government requires that Stafford Loan recipients complete student loan exit counseling prior to graduating or whenever they cease to enroll at least half-time. The purpose of this session is to help students understand their rights and obligations as a student borrower.

Most loans have a "grace" period of six or nine months. You do not have to start repayment for this length of time after you graduate, withdraw or enroll for less than half time.

Click on the above image or On-Line Interview to connect to Nelnet's Exit Seminar.

Enter your name, social security number and other requested data. Answer the multiple-choice questions that cover the seminar material. This information is sent to our office automatically when you complete the seminar.

Please Note: If you also have a Perkins Loan this does not satisfy your Exit Interview requirement. Please call Student Accounts at (407) 823-2358 to schedule your interview.

Your school records will be placed on HOLD if you have not completed
an Exit Interview by graduation.
