Helpful Hints

Complete the FAFSA early each year. Remember that the processed results of your FAFSA must be received at UCF by March 1 to meet the priority date.

Check your To Do List on myUCF often.

Submit copies of all private scholarship award letters as confirmation that additional funds are forthcoming. This is especially critical if you are depending on scholarship funding to defer charges on your student account.

Review the Bulletin Boards found on myUCF for significant up-to-date information year round.

Respond promptly to all information requests.

If a student who has already registered for classes decides not to attend UCF, then that student must officially drop his/her classes by the end of the Add/Drop period; otherwise, the student will be obligated to pay the debts and charges owed to the University.

Maintain a current e-mail and mailing address on myUCF at all times.

Include your name and PID and signatures on all documents submitted. (Do not submit originals; documents will be shredded after scanning.)

Make a copy of tax return forms before submission to IRS.

If there are extenuating circumstances or problems at anytime, call our appointment line, (407) 823-5285, to meet with a counselor.
