Financial Aid - Mission Statement

The Office of Student Financial Assistance, a unit within Student Development and Enrollment Services, is dedicated to supporting UCF’s mission and goals through the efficient delivery of student aid.  The Office provides UCF students with a comprehensive offering of financial assistance options to support student success and the attainment of a university degree.

 
2014-15 Financial Aid Award Notification

Incoming freshman and transfer students:  Paper award notifications will be
mailed beginning the week of March 17, 2014, and continue as students become eligible.

Continuing undergraduate and graduate students:  Email award notifications will be sent
May 2014, after the spring term has ended and grades have been posted. The email
notifications will continue as students become eligible.  The notification will advise students to
log onto myUCF to view their financial aid awards.

All students must apply or reapply yearly for financial aid.
Complete the online FAFSA, found at www.fafsa.gov.

NEW!!! Effective for 2013-2014, the state legislature passed a law that does not require students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to a BF award disbursement.

If the FAFSA application priority date (March 1st) is missed, students should apply as soon as possible to be considered for financial aid that is still available.The UCF school code is 003954.

  Items on your "To Do List"     Accept, Decline or Reduce
Loans
 
The To Do List may contain items that you need to complete for Student Financial Assistance (SFA) or other offices within the UCF community. Students receiving financial aid should regularly check their To Do List. Only Federal Direct Stafford Loans can be accepted, reduced or declined on your myUCF account.
Grants and scholarships require no acceptance.
